Hero, zero and full blitz from the Giants’ 24-6 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Hero
Saints quarterback Derek Carr completed 23 of 28 passes for 218 yards with three TDs, no turnovers and a passer rating of 134.8.
He was a big part of New Orleans going 6 of 12 on third-down conversions and keeping drives alive, particularly in the second half.
Unsung hero
Saints running back Alvin Kamara produced 110 yards of total offense, leading the team with 66 yards on 16 rushes and five receptions for 44 yards.
He wasn’t dominant, but he kept the chains moving for the Saints and broke the Giants‘ defense with a couple big runs.
Zero
Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson played perhaps his worst game with the team, giving up several back-breaking plays, the worst of which was a 16-yard Carr completion to A.T. Perry on third-and-16 in the fourth quarter.
That conversion led to New Orleans’ final TD for a 24-6 lead.
He had a costly holding penalty on third-and-7 that kept the Saints’ first drive of the second half alive and ended in a TD and a 14-6 lead at the time.
