Melania Trump says she ‘supports’ Donald’s 2024 campaign

Melania Trump shared this week that she’s on board with her husband’s 2024 presidential campaign — but remained tight-lipped on his many scandals and legal woes.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Melania, 53, said it would be a “privilege” to serve as first lady again.

“My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again,” the former model told the outlet.

“He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”

Trump, 76, announced his re-election bid in November, and is leading the pack of declared candidates for the Republican nomination.

If her husband returns to the White House, Melania said, she plans to focus on initiatives that prioritize children.

“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” she explained.

“If additional problems arise, I will take the time to study them and understand their root causes.”

The Slovenia native’s sit-down with Fox comes just over a month after her office warned the press not to speculate on her “personal, professional, and political” stances in the wake of Trump’s indictment on 34 felony charges related to a hush-money payment he allegedly orchestrated to porn actress Stormy Daniels.

Melania did not accompany her husband to court in Manhattan and was noticeably absent from Trump’s fiery post-arraignment remarks. The former president also failed to thank his wife in his tribute to his “great” family.

“Melania lives in an ivory tower of denial,” one former friend told Page Six of the mother of one’s reaction to the accusations stemming from her husband’s alleged affair with Daniels.

“Of course she knows about Donald’s affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity. She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I don’t think Melania is humiliated by his affairs — but she is angry.”

The former president is also being accused of rape in a Manhattan civil court by author E. Jean Carroll for an attack that allegedly took place in a Bergdorf Goodman fitting room in the 1990s. Trump denies the charges.

He is also facing multiple federal investigations surrounding his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riots and the troves of classified documents found stored at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla.

Despite the ongoing rape trial and looming legal action, the former first lady looked unfazed over the weekend when she hosted a luncheon at Mar-a-Lago to mark the fifth anniversary of her “Be Best” initiative, which focused on online safety, children’s issues and opioid abuse.

Since leaving the White House, Melania has extended the program to include “Fostering the Future,” which grants computer science scholarships to young people aging out of the foster care system.

“Since leaving Washington, DC, my commitment to the foster community has grown stronger,” she told Fox.

“At the present time, there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, and there is less than a 3% chance of former foster children completing their college education. In fact, many end up on the street, homeless. My objective is to reduce the gap and increase access to higher education for those who leave the foster care system.

“I have faith that an education-based foundation will provide these individuals with the skills needed to secure employment and achieve financial stability.”
